Smart control system for food waste collectors: precision from washing to weighing
This bespoke control and visualisation solution was developed specifically for use in food waste collection systems to efficiently manage complex processes such as automated bin washing and the collection of slaughterhouse waste. Via a central CAN system, all vehicle functions – from the lorry engine to the integrated scales – are seamlessly networked, enabling precise operation via radio, touchscreen or keypad. Stepless hydraulic control of the components ensures flawless operation under all operating conditions.
The integrated cloud portal offers significant added value for logistics: recorded weighing data is assigned to specific customers and transmitted in real time for analysis. The plug-and-play system, featuring pre-assembled hardware and a pre-programmed control unit as standard, ensures that the system is ready for use much more quickly.
